Mission
Providing the Bachelor of Nursing students with basic and
applied competencies to practice quality nursing care, with a focus on primary
health care. The department also contributes to the development of
evidence-based nursing care in the field of primary health care provided to the
individual, family and society in partnership with other departments.
Objectives
- Preparing highly qualified graduates who are able to apply knowledge in the field of primary care.
- Application of knowledge in primary health care for individuals and their families and in partnership with various health care institutions.
- Contribute to the development of evidence-based nursing care in the field of primary health care provided to individuals, families and the community, and in partnership with other departments.
- Conducting scientific research to develop the educational, scientific and specialized process.
- Developing the competencies of the faculty members in the department through continuing education.
- Offering masters programs according to national needs and strengthening nursing specialization
