Adult health nursing laboratory contains (Manikins) patients, figurative human body parts, and educational tools that allow the students to know the appropriate positive trends for the care of adult’s physiological, social, and psychological responses to health problems and the actual and potential disorders that affects patterns of functional health. Students can learn essential competencies necessary to care for adult patients in a supervised safe environment before working with real patients in hospitals. Students are provided with the opportunity to use the nursing process to identify and assess the physical, psychological, and spiritual health needs and preferences of culturally, ethnically, and socially diverse patients, and develop a care plan following the nursing process.
