The Alzheimer’s Awareness Club

Brief Overview of the Club

 

The Alzheimer’s Awareness Club primarily aims to serve individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia, in addition to supporting their families and caregivers.

• Enhancing students’ participation in social services by raising awareness about Alzheimer’s through involvement in awareness campaigns (schools, universities, health centers).

• Increasing awareness and promoting a spirit of volunteerism to build a generation capable of engaging with Alzheimer’s patients.

 

Club Objectives

 

• Developing leadership and community skills through organizing events and volunteer initiatives.

• Strengthening students’ relationships with local and international associations specialized in Alzheimer’s care.

Nabd Club

Club Objectives

 

· Engaging Nursing students with students from other faculties to promote awareness of public health issues.

· Promoting health awareness among university students through health days and awareness campaigns.

· Adopting students’ creative ideas, supporting them, and facilitating the path to implementing them.

· Utilizing students’ free time in projects that benefit them throughout the year, in alignment with the club’s objectives.

· Organizing scientific and cultural enrichment activities and workshops in nursing and other various health fields.

· Highlighting the importance of the nursing profession within the community to create a supportive environment for the profession and to contribute to building a health-aware and well-educated society.
