Welcome to the Deanship of the Faculty of Nursing at Amman Al-Ahliyya University. The faculty was established in 2006-2007 as a national initiative to meet Jordan's need for qualified nurses who are able to respond to the needs of the local and regional community. At the faculty, we dedicate our efforts to providing distinguished education that is in line with the highest local and international academic standards. The faculties of nursing at universities represent a fundamental pillar in developing diverse health care and services in society. Through its programs, the Faculty of Nursing at Al-Ahliyya Amman University seeks to prepare nursing cadres capable of providing comprehensive and safe health care. Our vision is to lead and excel in preparing nursing graduates to lead the transformation of healthcare, develop evidence-based knowledge and empower society. Through our innovative academic programs, which include the Bachelor of Nursing and two postgraduate (Masters) tracks, we aim to provide graduates with the knowledge, skills and competencies necessary to meet the growing challenges in healthcare and to enhance their professional excellence. We also ensure the provision of distinguished practical training through advanced clinical simulation centers, where students can deal with various medical cases and practice their skills in a safe and realistic environment, which also enhances their ability to contribute to the national health system and through training in hospitals, government and private health centers, international health organizations and many specialized medical centers. The college’s faculty members are distinguished by their academic expertise, as they are graduates of prestigious local and international universities and are known nationally and internationally for their research expertise in all areas of nursing. Clinical instructors also have exceptional skills and provide a distinguished clinical experience for our students. Our mission is to achieve leadership and excellence in graduating nursing leaders by providing academic programs, applying nursing standards and competencies, creating a supportive environment for creativity and innovation in education, practice and scientific research, and empowering society to respond to local, regional and global changes. We believe that scientific research is an integral part of developing nursing practices, and we encourage creativity, innovation and critical thinking. We are also keen to strengthen partnerships with the local community through the contribution of the college and its specialized centers in preparing and presenting awareness and training initiatives and programs for health care specialists and society in general, which reflects our commitment to achieving sustainable development and investing in human resources. Our success depends on our cooperation and joint efforts with the university and our partners from the local and international community and the excellence of our students.
